I think it probably makes DJI cringe when their new Osmo is refered to as a "Selfie Stick" by one of Americas biggest new outlets. I think as soon as normal Joe's get it, the more brilliant videos that does not involve someone filming themselves eating the better to hilight this techs usefulness for very good video making..

It just goes to show how ignorant these writers are.

The Verge's headline says so too, even though if you watch the video it's less about the selfie-stick. I guess a super expensive selfie-stick's angle draws more click as a headline, as opposed if you just say another gimbal/stabilizer.

yea, it's a trick to attract more views since selfie sticks are pretty hot now.

I also agree that this title is more eye-catching, but if you read the article you will find more things.
