There isn't any book written on how to perform a legit hyperlapse and timelapse using a drone, in reality it's a different animal but the same fundamental concepts apply. Until about 1-2 months this wouldn't have been made possible. This was shot using Autoflight Logic smart shots and assembled in AE. Everything was shot in RAW. This only the beginning. True Ken, to accomplish what Jay did one has to be very confident in the controls that he is working with. Many hours of practice. I will let Jay and Jim Hare do these projects while I sit back watching and enjoying their work.

OMGoodness - Terrific!

I don't know where that was shot but it had some visually rich scenery!  I'm still baffled about one sequence around the 1:11 mark where what appear to be glowing blue and red panels running around on the ground -- what the heck is that?!?

I would assume you could fly your inspire in at the slowest speed possible with the highest burst photo setting, the taking it all into after effects and generating a cropping section similar to how the Instgram blog talks about masking out the rough edges, also probably running a smooth frames time remapping function which build frames for you.

I feel then same way, but actually I find it easier to see the craft at farther distances than in the day time, but that said I'm a bit apprehensive to fly at night still
