I accidently landed my DJI Phanton 2 Vision Plus in a lake, it was only shallow and was only submerged for a matter of seconds, and whilst I immediately dried it off with a hair dryer I am now experiencing problem with the way in which the camera hangs….ie. not level. Everything else is fine, the phantom works fine, flies fine, returns when the battery is running low etc. The camera still records and I can still move it up and down using the app.

Does anyone know if this can be fixed by me or does anyone know anywhere in the UK where I can get this issue fixed?

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried resetting the Gimble via the assistant software?

Did you also use rice like described in point 7 and than calibrate it again?

When you say it does not hang level, do you mean the camera is looking part way down and not horizontal, or is your video that you receive not level?  ie, the left is lower than the right on the horizon?

I suspect there is still some damp in the potentiometer gimble circuit board. It now dosnt know the correct  horizon.
I would remove the gimble screws and dry the circuit board(hair dryer) and potentiometer . If still not working reset the horizon.
Video of how to expose the camera gimble circuit board and reset.
If you dont know about electronics, then dont do it, could make things worse.
