Good afternoon. Today was off the engines in the air at a height of 27m . Preparing for the launch was in normal mode , the screen was written Safe to fly, up to 26 meters in height it worked , but then lost the video signal and control , Phantom 3pro engines disabled and fell. Please tell me what I should do in this case? Ready to provide the required logs from my IOS device and a picture of my Phantom 3 pro. Thank you in advance!

I would be very, very careful with that battery. Do not store it inside.  It appears badly damaged and if a cell ruptures the result will be quite spectacular.

Was the battery at 34% at takeoff?  Could of been a battery failure?

But the system has written Safy to Fly, and this should mean SAFE TO FLY!
and arbitrary shutoff is not allowed .... Low charge copter was supposed to land

How many times has the battery been cycled?  If less than 10 times than you definitely should not be taking off with only 34% battery power.  If a lipo battery has not been conditioned well it can cut at anytime without warning when it gets
low.

Really sorry for your Phantom. I hope DJI shouldtake care for it!

Note to all colleagues: Remember the statement of DJI in the manual to fly _always_ with fully charged battery - every flight!

Is it safe to say that 99.9% of P3 crashes are noob or user error?

When activated, the battery was 35 % .
DJI put recommends charging the batteries at 8 % , this charge has decided to spend in flight .
If you turn on and leave Ph3, it will overheat .
How, then drain the battery up to 8 % ?

Sorry for the P3 taking a dive but you really should not use half baked batteries. Does not take much to charge one so why not? I seems the batteries really don't like getting put under strain ( and they are when flying ) then turned off and then powered back on some time later and put under more strain, flight time/reliability in this scenario seems very unknown.. There is a reason DJI say to use 100% full batteries for a flight.

And if you were really trying to take the batteries down to 8% then why fly up to 27m?

You will be very lucky if DJI warranty this in my opinion.

The log says battery "Times Charged 1", I wonder if he just got it and decide to fly right out of the box.

The EXACT thing happened to mine a couple of weeks ago. Contact DJI online or give them a call. They have had my P3 for a week and already I see the status of my claim has been expedited, and hopefully I should have in my hands within the next two weeks. Take notes when they instruct you and you should be in good shape also.

My flight record showed my battery at 54%
