Hi there !

When I do fast tilt moves with a short stop, the camera bounces.
To reiterate: Fast move up or down, followed by a quick stop, camera does 2-3 bounces. Goes up-down 2 times instead of just slowing down to a stop.

Any suggestions ?

A little bit more info my tests related to tilt bouncing:

Smoothing is ON and on RC,

TILT settings for Remote Pperation:
Tilt Smoothing: 15
Tilt Deadband: 0
Tilt Max Speed: 30

Only a slight bounce is visible. Any more agressive setting ( e.g. Max Speed 50 and/or less smoothing ( 10 ) the bounce gets really bad.
Never checked video though. I am sure it will be visible on a 90mm focal length.

PAN settings for Remote Operation:
Pan Smoothing: 0
Pan Deadband: 0
Pan Max Speed: 100

Absolutely no bounce on PAN, it is really frustrating, because PAN works like a charm while TILT sucks.
Please please please , I am ready to listen your opinions sugestions and ideas.

Two more quesitons:
1. What's the difference between Smooth Track ( Gimbal Menu ) and Smoothing ( Control Menu )?
2. What is TRIM ( motor menu ) ?

Pls increase the Tilt speed, set the deadband to 5

1. if Smoothtrack is switched on, the camera will follow the movement of ronin in Tilt, PAN or Roll axis. the Smoothing is about the control stick, you can set the value to 0 and 30, then press the corresponding to test the difference
2. The Trim adjustment adjuts the preset amount of trim applied to each axis off center, you can also test it
