Can someone hlp me, I just bought an Inspire 1 and I can't get the app to connect with my Nexus 9 android device.

I start the app and get the first screen,

then I get the second screen in this post and nothing I touch works.


What gives?

Click on Enter Camera View

    First try turning on "USB debugging" under Developer Options.  See thread titled "DJI Go app id not working on my android tablet any more...".  That post also shows how to make the transmitter the default for the DJI GO application.  
    Having said that, my ASUS Memo 10 (Android 4.2.2.) connected so infrequently that I gave up and bought a new tablet.  It worked perfectly with the Pilot App, but hardly ever worked with DJI GO.  Have had good luck with Samsung Tab S2 (Android 5.1.1.)

Fuck that, I just bought this tablet B/C the OS9 issues that everyone is having.

If you're not on an Inspire 1, swipe left and it will show other aircraft types. I have an i1 and a P3P and it took me a minute to notice the little dots below the image of the Inspire.

For flight records, on the top left corner, you'll see an icon of a cloud with arrows. tap on that and it will sync records from your DJI account to the tablet.

You need wi-fi first time you hook up.

Unplug your cable and plug back . Do it when the app is on and rc and phantom

Does shit all. You need to enter USB debug mode in developer settings. Fucking stupid DJI, What App needs developer credentials to work???Regreting buying this peice of shit as we speak.

Pay attention to your language Sir. Be patient. Your bird is under warranty so you can ship your DJI to them for repair or replace.
Or try another tablet iPad for example before you ship back your Inspire one to DJI.
I boutht a $200,000.00 digital cinema camera last year and have to return it to the company and wait 2 months before it came back to me.

I understand your gripe, but this is so frustrating. Sending back will cost me about $700. Not something I imagined I would have to do with a new item.

DJI will cover the shipping cost.

Why does this app reset all the settings when exit it. You have to go and redo everything each time you start it up. Is there a way to lock the settings?

I have the same problem with my I phone 6 and I still haven't go any further sooo frustrating !!!

Some tips.
Try a different USB cable (I had this issue with my Android Tablet)
Turn RC on, make sure Drone is OFF, connect tablet, launch DJI App
Use a USB stick formatted in FAT32, and update the RC firmware (refer to firmware update manual, page 8)
Try a different tablet, or phone.

I had an issue updating the firmware on my android tablet, hooked up my iPhone 6, RC updated just fine.

For a work application I got two Inspire's, four controllers, an Android tab (Nexus7) and an iPhone (5s) and no combination or permutation of any of these devices will connect to DJI GO no matter what order I start them in, etc. DJI devices appear to be complete garbage.

Just for info I have happily flown about 120 km with a P3P using the Nexus 9 tablet. No real problem, but you do need to click on "Enable USB debugging" each time, and if that is enabled and you are disconnected, then on the following flight you must dis-able the USB debugging, which will connect the aircraft (weird, but it works). I think of it as a toggle from one flight to another... Its a just work around. No big deal.
