I just bought a new Inspire 1. I downloaded the zip file, copied it to the rrot directory of a mini SD, put it in the camera, turned on the inspire and nothing. All I get is a blinking yellow light on its tail.


What am I doing wrong?

At a guess, I'd say that you put the zip file on the card.

Extract the zip and put the .bin file on ...

I didn't put the zip file on the card, I extracted it and copied the folder to the card. Didn't realize that I needed to place the .bin file in the root directory. Thanks, it is working now.

How do you know if firmware update worked? What sound does the Zenmuse make, since there are no indicator lights?

I was reading the "How to update your firmware PDF". And all it has on that is that the device will beep, but not how it will beep.

BTW, I am having trouble with the DJI GO app, there is no "Enter Camera View", why would that be?
