Wal-Mart Stores Inc applied Monday to U.S. regulators for permission to test drones for home delivery, curbside pickup and checking warehouse inventories, a sign it plans to go head-to-head with Amazon in using drones to fill and deliver online orders.
I don't think there is a snowball's chance in hell that any regulatory organisation is going to permit autonomous flights like customer deliveries. The idea is pure fantasy and shows a complete lack of understanding of the problems and risks involved. More media BS.
