Today is the shortest day of the year so they say, in the Northern Hemisphere.
The day of least sunlight.
From here on the daylight hours should be getting longer.
Lets hope we get plenty of sunlight in the days to come, as it makes the images look so much better.

@HEJ : Its amazing with snow but if you get a fly away its a hard walk to recover it but then again its a long swim for you :-)

I have fond memories of Sweden and visited on several occasions.
Even camped not far from Kiruna on the longest day.
With my trusty 8mm movie camera filmed the most amazing sunset I have ever witnessed.
Though I am not sure one could call it a 'Sunset'.
I used time lapse.
It was so unreal to look at people thought I had manufactured it.
Sadly the film didn't age well, got damp damage and so was eventually discarded.
