1.Can u record 4k video? u can confirm this by directly scanning video in sdcard on PC.
I had files on the SD card...I transferred them to my PC. There wasnt anything to play. I dropped the 4k to 24fps, transferred the file to my PC. Please click on this link. This is what the playback looked like: I then uploaded the file to YouTube. It plays back at normal speed but the settings are 720 and the quality isnt there:
I also ran another video through my video editing software (Sony Movie Platinum 13). It took a long time but the end shot was in normal speed but very grainy. Any help would be appreciated. I guess for now I'll keep 1080 as my settings until update?
I can shoot at 4K 30fps. See this video. I tried the 4K 24fps 4096X 2160 but does not work. Per DJI support it is going to be fixed with firmware update which I hope is done soon.
Yea..it seems now to be a playback issue..First computer wouldnt play anything..just got a musical note icon...went to my other computer which has a gaming card in it and I get the choppy effect in the first video...but I uploaded that same choppy one to YouTube and it plays back fine...just the quality isnt that good...I'm confused...
My computer is not up to working with 4K and OSMO and my iPhone 6s + is in the same boat.
I got the blue screen of death on my iPhone while trying (by mistake) to film in 4K.
It seems that ur pc is not capable to play 4k video. Actually u already recorded 4k and upload it to youtube. So there should not be any problem during the 4k recording process. I may recommend u to use 1080. u may also try ur friends' computer to confirm this.
2.For playing back in iphone6+, it may pause for 4k playing back because of camera's performance issue during transcode. Would u plz post another video demonstrating the details when playing back on iphone?
