Firmware upgrade works!

just did mine

issue of the camera restarting unexpectedly when recording video at 4096 x 2160 resolution. FIXED
issue of the pan axis drifting in timelapse mode during moving shots. FIXED


But thats all fokes !


Took about 10min easy todo follow instructions have battery charged before you start ! drains about 25% of battery during update!


lots more needs to be addressed with another update!

Got my Osmo yesterday. I had the issue with camera stopping recording at the 4K res, also lost most of the functions in the app!

I re-installed the app, updated the Osmo's firmware and all is good now. And yes, I did lock the gimbal during the upgrade. Wasn't sure about this at first, but then I remembered you can manually move the gimbal whilst it's powered up, so figured it would be OK.

Shame the weather here in the UK is too rubbish to get out and use the thing!
