I recently bought a second remote for my inspire. It neededto be updated to 1.3.0 and then to 1.4.30. The update to 1.3 seemed to go smoothly, but now getting to 1.4.30 has stalled the remote as a brick. It is stuck with the update downloaded and continues to fail everytime I try to complete the update.

It will not connect to my other remote as a slave and I cannot link it to the copter. I've tried linking it back the the inspire and it won't do it. It's stuck in firmware update purgatory.

Another interesting thing to note is the status indicator is light blue/white when it turns on and it does not beep, it just comes up. It will attempt to run the firmware update but it never gets beyond 0%. I've tried with a couple different I-devices as the connected monitor.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

what "devices" are you using?

Ipad Air and Iphone 6.

I originally downloaded the update while using the Iphone.

Is there a way to delete the downloaded update and re-download it?

You need the reset bin. I am sure it is still posted somewhere here. Make the reset and then try again.

The reset bin worked! It brought it out of purgatory and into the light! I used the gs_ofdm.bin.
