Do the videos/photos captured during flight store on both the SD card and on the phone/tablet that is running the GO App?

Yes, the videos will be save on the table/phone running the Dji go app but in caching mode. They will be in lower resolution than those on the SD card of the Drone.
Sometimes when the connection is low the caching mode will not work correctly and you videos may not be stored on the phone/table correctly.

You can turn it on or off...I found that the cached videos have problems with pixellation and blank spots in them

Thank you for your thoughts. I imagine storing video would likely cause the App or device to be a little unstable and increase the risk of the App locking up.
