Whilst I was playing with the various setings, I pressed on the 2.4/5.8 Ghz switch. To my shot and horror, my OSMO switched to 5.8 GHz without any warning and requested to reboot! This is very bad programing. Now, I find myself unable to connect back to my mobile phone. Please please please tell me that I can reset my OSMO back to factory settings? Having experienced what I have experienced so far, I no longer have faith in DJI.

Hi i also had a problem with osmo going on to 5.8ghz. Resetting the osmo didn't work for me either but i did manage to get the 2.4ghz wifi back,

I used a samsung galaxy note 10.1(which has 2.4 and 5.8 wifi built in) I installed the dji go app then opened the programe went into the camera settings and then changed back to 2.4ghz wifi,

Also the reason i think the 5.8ghz is built into the program is due to if the camera was mounted on a dji phantom 2 or 3 it wouldn't cause any problems with the signal.

Hopefully some of the info and a way around to getting back to 2.4ghz wifi will help, I haven't tested any other devices though hopefully someone else will be able to provide info if it works on other tablets or phones

What device are you using? dose it support 5.8ghz? if it dose you can go into camera settings and change it back to 2.4ghz through the app,if your device doesn't support 5.8ghz and you can't do the wifi reset (eg.hold down the trigger and shutter button at the same time, then pull the power switch down until the System Status Indicator blinks green, then don't forget to release the power button first before releasing the trigger), Then use another device that supports 5.8ghz load the dji app and change the ghz setting through the app.

Yes, before you're trying to switch the WiFi frequency from 2.4 to 5.8, please make sure that your mobile device support 5.8GHz firstly, if it doesn't support, then 5.8 won't work with you.
