Do you ever accidentally switch S1 or S2 wrongly?

I do - also, my TX is not stored in a case, so I find the switched in the wrong positions when I am ready to fly.

I just did this very simple mod - using two bottle lids with holes drilled in them and glue - maybe it will help?

I know that real aircraft pilots often have to remove a switchguard to take an action...if I were to improve the DJI TX it would be with both switchguards and LED's which clearly indicated what position the switches were in.

My advice is to learn the basics!
Perform a quick pre-flight check of the phantom & controller switches
otherwise your always going to be a noob.

It's always a matter of percentages. Even with preflight check, it's easy to brush your hand against a switch accidentally after the craft has taken off. That's why these guy, NASA, build control panels that look like this.

Pilots cannot do too many things at one time. Sometimes they are looking at the quad - sometimes at their phone or tablet and other times at the TX.
I must admit - that I dropped my last TX and busted one of those switches off. This may also prevent that! :-)

Don't get me wrong, its a good idea BUT Its only two switches, and they are quite far apart.  I do wish they had a light to indicate the mode though.

The LCARS computer system is the answer. No mistakes there.

LOL. Maybe a bit ambious and oversized for a quadcopter.
Its a kind of reflex now for me to check both switches.

I'm new here and have been wondering what the S! and S2 switches were for. Mine are not labeled like the picture and none of the literature that I have looked at mentions what they do. I Think I read that rotating the gimbal control all the way to the right and then flipping S! several times resets the video or controller or something.
