No video problem?


There are some users who using an earlier versions of the phones and pads, with lower specs, which sometimes causes “no video signal issue:
So here is the quick-fix solution for this problem:

The absence of video can be caused by defective USB cable… so, please try to change it first. If changing the USB cable doesn’t help the situation please follow the next steps:
1.   Click on the HD icon to enter Image Transmission Settings,

There are two settings of the channel:
Auto and Custom

--By choosing the “Auto” system will be switching between the different channels and choosing the channel with the lowest interference
--By choosing “Custom” user will be able to choose the channel manually with reference to the graph. (The best choice is the channel with noise level of -100dBM)




2.   In the same menu set the transfer rate to 4mbps. Choosing the lower transfer quality you also increasing the video transmission range.

3.   Go to the master menu in the upper right hand corner, scroll down, and enable hardware decoding. Simply saying hardware decoding is kind of boosting your hardware, especially GPU and CPU

4.   Disable video caching. Disabling video cashing can free up some your device’s RAM and CPU for smoother video transmission.

Hope this suggestions will help with the demands on older processors.  
However, the video quality and the range can vary depending on the flight environment.

Thanks! I figured it out some weeks ago, and the above procedures worked for me after weeks of stress, since FW 1.3.2 was first released for P3P. However, it only worked with the 32 channel hack, had no luck without it. Cable was not the problem. BTW Android Galaxy users can check the quality of their usb cable by plugging into your phone and downloading free app Galaxy Charging Current. The higher the value the better. Aim for 1800. You'll be amazed how poor some cables are...

I've purchased an awg 20 high quality micro usb anker cable and still having NO SIGNAL issue... I got nexus 6 with the android 6...i cannot find hardware decode in the dji go app.. Enabling 32channels instead of default 8 can help? How can I do this Hack?

I am having a problem with my camera for the P3 Advanced. I just recently bought this drone in the past 2 weeks and after my second flight I come home and download my videos and pictures only to find out there are lines of different colors that ruin the picture. Some cover the entire picture. What can I do to fix this. The live feed during flight did not show this problem, only when I got home to download the pictures.

If live-feed didn't show any issue with that, that's supposed to be an SD card, format it or try another high speed SD

When you say 'download', what do you mean? From where?

The normal method of copying a video file is to remove the SD card from the aircraft, connect it into an adapter and copy the file to your computer. 'Downloading' does not come into it.

go into the video menu and make sure you are shooting in NTSC if your computer is set for NTSC, or PAL if you're set for PAL.  Depends on where in the world you are.  After I did the latest firmware update the system reset to PAL but my laptop wants NTSC.  Once i changed the setting all was well with that aspect of my two P3Ps.

Could be some restrictions in europe. Change the language of your device to English US and try again

Thanks for the Tip.  Some considerations came into play is the Tablet or Phone specs.  IOS works great in most aspect but on my Android I notice there is a bit lag in video transmission.  But it can be my phone or tablets CPU specifications, again lot of considerations.

If you have a Standard,  you can not change it.

yes, I can control my Phantom 3 normally, using both remote control and on screen control.

I'm not flying my P4 until all the bugs are gone. It's too risky and very costly to lose a P4. So my P4 is grounded until things get resolved I'm not taking any chances with all of these issues. Or I'll just sell it and get s different drone from a different company. That's I I truly feel sorry everyone.

Hello
Bought 15 days ago and after a dozen of flights without problem to the next display on ipad no signal and no video.
Statut level : upgrade of the device error .
Many attemps to restore the version 1-9-60 remained empty
At first installation beep beep then 4 beeps and then a shrill sound permanent.
Light gimbal red. RC Green.
No signal however the caméra shoots well and takes pictures that CAN be seen of the SD card on computer but no possibility to see by pressing the arrow under camera settings from app.
The phantom can fly but there si no video on app.
Please if you can help me.
