Can anyone recommend a gimbal for the Black Magic Micro which I want to install under my Tarot 680 Pro Hex? Powered with DJI E800 kit, DJI Naza M V2 with GPS, datalink, OSD and Immersion Video Transmitter. Would love something which could tie into Naza FC and OSD but not a deal breaker. Inspire has been great but need something a little more expandable.

I haven't been able to find much, please let me know if you do find a better solution. We have a 680 frame as well.

Check out the new Inspire 1 Pro. I think that will suit your needs nicely.

The pro is nice but I want the hex setup and more camera flexibility  than the X5R currently offers.

Besides my current Inspire with X3 has its place where it performs very well.

well, easiair05, I don't recommend you to pun naza on to the heavy and expensive hardware.  Simply saying the you don't want to fly your 680 with 2000+USD  camera with Phantom 2 controller. So for this kit i'd recommend you A2. And gimbal for Balckmagic  is here: http://www.dji.com/product/zenmuse-z15-bmpcc

Tim,

and here's a silly question:
can we use the X5 / X5R camera on a S900 or S1000 set up?

tks

@rodger I personally have the Inspire Pro and don't feel the same way. It is an amazing tool, but it is nice to have a bird that isn't so reliant on DJI to stay operable. Something as small as a bug in the firmware can ground your Inspire quite easily. This wouldn't ever happen to his hex, and he would be able to repair/replace any parts in the field. With an Inspire, you can swap out all the parts you want but if it's bricked its bricked. We now have the Inspire Pro & an additional Inspire 1 as a backup... Looking back, I should have just bought an Alta.

Exactly taylorellis1, The hex doesn't fail due to the firmware issues which is why we went this way. Two jobs I went on I had to scrap due to firmware issues once we were on sight (lost video feed, no connection issues) so I needed a backup. Plus I'm not at the mercy of the propriety issues of the Inspire. Don't get me wrong I love the Inspire but not impressed with the pro model camera for the cost. The A2 will be the next upgrade but the M has never failed me, Tim,  I think the gimbal you suggest is for the pocket cam model. The micro is black magic's newest lightweight cinema camera and different body style. I will check it out though thanks.
