I see the new 1345T props and fitting kit are now available on the DJI store

This is good news, I'll have to get a set for myself. I have one of the latest Inspire 1s (just before the 2.0 launch...) and have already got the X5 mounting plate, now just waiting for the upgraded motors (if that's even a thing) to upgrade my way to a 2.0! I know it'll actually cost quite a bit more doing it this way... At least I'll have some spares for the future, if needed.

Honestly as the Inspire model 6101510 has about double range I dont see any sense to put more money in an old 6101410 revision - better sell it and get the new one which has all this expensively extra sold stuff already

Range isn't an issue in the UK when you can only legally fly 400m VLOS.

But I agree it is easier to buy a later release and sell the older one or keep it as back up.

Isn't the extra range only from the model C controller? Did they upgrade anything inside the v2 system itself? I've never once lost signal, anyway.

Also, as a hobbyist, I don't have the sort of money to spend on a second one, "as a backup" and selling isn't an option (I'm in China but not Chinese, in case that isn't clear).

I can get the parts at Chinese prices which are a bit below the UK price and free installation, warranty stays intact. I can watch the guy fit it rather than have to send it to China because, well, I'm here already.

No. But its true that the situation between 658B and 658C is the same as with 6101410 and 6101510. in fact BOTH plane and RC have about 5 dBm difference.

yes, new 1345T are here, and this 3rd generation of the props is more convenient and reliable then the previous ones
