Doesn't mention that the simulator is for IOS only.

Is this a mistake or Android simulator is coming?

Just looking at the new firmware update and started reading on the DJI GO app and seen no mention that it was for iOS only. Hopefully it will be available for Android soon.

Are you describing the DJI PC based simulator you can get if you register as a developer with DJI ?  Yes that does work quite well

I was replying to a post that is old now. I was talking about the simulator in Android, and now also IOS.

Where can I get the Android simulator Ken?
I can't find it in Play Store on my phone or tablet.

The only simulator I can find is a pay to use app, and it's not from DJI but it is for Phantoms (or at least shows a Phantom as the drone in the app's preview screenshot).

It's in the DJI Go app.  Tap the College grad cap icon and it's in there.  You MUST have the UAV connected as it uses the phantoms internal wizardy.  It wonl;t really start the props but I always leave mine off for safties sake when not flying.

Downside to the android version:

Small flat green space, so no obstacles etc.  Gimbel up/down does NOTHING in FPV view, so kinda useless for practicing advanced videography techniques.

Ah OK thanks ... saw it pop up earlier this week when doing some test flights at work at lunchtime - will be playing more this weekend

Thats good you found it. The app is pretty feature packed.
