that is a very good question I would love to see answered...

Would be good if we could also use the Inspire Controller with the Phantom 2 models rather than switching controllers all the time.  Perhaps just change the aircraft in the app.  I don't think it is possible though unfortunately.

no, it is not possible to use the P3 remoter as a slave on inspire 1

So, you do know that the Phantom 3 controller does not have all of the functionality that the Inspire controller has right.  At first glance, I would not think this would work.... but just a guess. Can't imagine DJI put more electronics in the controller than it needs to keep costs down.

I know, but it should be technically possible to control the camera/gimbal - that is all that is needed.

No definitive answer yet?  I would really like to know not only if the P3 controller would work as an Inspire slave, but also if the Inspire controller would work as a P3 slave.
