So, I find a place without any power lines, nearest building's, peoples, etc.
I have reach the 350 meters max, I point my antenna to aircraft after 200 meters away all the time (like an idiot) and on 350's signal totally lost and Phantom RTH.
I have latest firmware, fully charged battery, RC, iPhone (with latest DJI Go app), airplane mode turned on.
But 350 meters in the field, DJI, really?

Aloha yaonya,

     The new update yesterday, December 21, 2015, enables a 600 meter range.  If you are using a compliant tablet or smartphone the updates should be no problem.  The update is for the P3S and Intelligent Batteries.  Also good for cold weather flying.

Yesterday we get a new update . i did a test and i was able to fly 600 meters away before i only get 100 meters  i m going to do more test to figure out  if was a lucky day or the software  is helping in the range

Really  i don't know if im lucky of what happen before i was able just to fly 100 meters of alitude and yesterday i was able to fly  300 meters  after a few seconds  i lose total signal and i regain control  when the quad was 100 meters distance

whats the range that you get in open areas ? or in the City

did you try awindsurf for the  antenna i will try it and let you know what i get

I think that that was a lucky day today i only get 300 meters  with a windsurf for the antenna

tomorrow im going to travel to an open area (Mountains )and im going to let you know what range do i get in open areas

On new firmware: Max Distance 309 m (out of city) and 207 in city - (alt 100 m)
On previous firmware: Max Distance 357 m (out of city) and 200 in city - (alt 100 m)

My top is 550m in open area before returning home
