When I go to update the OSMO after I install the SD card into the slot the LED light flashes once red/green then stops. The power LED stays green, but the OSMO wont update. Anyone else having this issue?
Hi, have you checked the TXT files in the SD card? Please provide the txt file, and hidden log files in the MISC folder. What is the current firmware version and the upgrade version?
About the upgrade method, please check the How to Upgrade Firmware file here: http://www.dji.com/product/osmo/info#downloads
Download the last firmware upgrade for the OSMO from dji.com and the zip, wich is only 34 MB needs around 10 minutes with my very fast internet line ;-(
okay try to upgrade the firmware: first it looks like it was sucesfull but when I restart the OSMO to check the firmware the OSMO start upgrading again I gues.
Should I better remove the micro SD with the .bin file before restarting the OSMO ?
Checking the firmware version now, it displays me 1.0.1.19+
And the txt file shows me once for upgrading 1.2.1.60 success and next failed.
After try to upgrade again:
"Packet: OSMO_FW_V01.02.01.60.bin
Result: Abort. The firmware on the SD card is identical to or older than the current firmware on the aircraft."
see below the txt file:
========== 2014.01.01 00:00:11 remo-con disconnect======
Packet: OSMO_FW_V01.02.01.60.bin
Result: Failed.
Reboot the aircraft and try to upgrade the firmware again.

The log shows that the Osmo updated OK to 1.2.60 - The subsequent failures is a bug I think ( I have reported it to DJI as I have seen this myself ). Remove the firmware file from the SD and you should not see it being logged again.
There is another log file on the sd card in a hidden folder called MISC/LOG. This will show more info and what versions all the modules in the Osmo were update too. Post this if you can.
The app will show version 1.0.1.19+
@ViperAMG - if you are having the same thing ( logs says a success then failures ) I think you too can ignore the issue.
although i have read the above, its very confusing after upgrading to the latest firmware and no where within the DJI Go app does it say the firmware has been updated to a number reflective of the firmware you downloaded. Maybe something for DJI to consider to change in the future.
