When did you order? My order was placed 11/15 and have yet to receive the unit has been shipped.

Tell us  where you  Ordered yours . Its not clear that our dealers or DJI dont communicate the shipment.

Just a bit curious...it looks like it was picked up locally rather than coming by shipping carton. Did it arrive with the ^v symbol on it? Where is the battery? Props?

Looks like in China, as well.  But it's not a prototype model, correct?

Controller and case handle shrink wrapped.

Maybe one of the first production versions off the line?

It almost looks like he picked up and just took some quick pics with it. I would think first production versions as well. But I don't know, hes based out of Bangkok, Thailand... Might have good friends at DJI?

I personally like how he answers everyone questions (lol) this is a big Publicity Stunt if I ever seen one. Thanks Gorilla Drone for keeping me from wasting any more time.

Its 1:04am in Thailand folks... Lets take a breather...

The case really look great, and the size compared to the umbrella in the trunk is pretty amazing (small !) when you think of all it can contain !

Our wait is not vain ;-)

And DJI have the best experience in making drones in volume. I really rather wait than receive an Inspire 1 with problems.
So many parts / things can go wrong... :
- Retracting train problems
- TX / RX signal problems
- Software (app crashes, freezes, causing crash of the I1 ?)
- battery problems
- quality of video
- vibrations
- durability
- spare replacements
- ...

This is huge, and at that price i expect a durable product.
For me like for most of you i suppose, this is quite some money.
We all crached a copter i guess. I don't want to crash this one soon !
It seems that DJI is taking the right decisions : who would like to receive a corrupted V1 ?
As soon as we receive it, hopefully we will all forget this wait :-)

And, in fact, i have to admin that i love all the wait / reading here.
I learned a lot, thanks to all of you !

PS : My dealer assured me 2 days ago that their 1st lot of 40 inspire were on delivery to them, and that they expected to deliver them as soon as next week. They told me that for those who ordered outside this contingent of 40 starting approx 2 weeks ago), they would receive them around 15 January, with this date to be confirmed later. I am supposed to be in the initial 40 (2 TX version). I will keep you posted if i have any delivery info (i asked to come myself to take delivery (and advices !) to the shop, North of Paris, France).

Ils m'ont dzit il y a 2 jours qu'ils ont eu confirmation que leur première commande était en route.
Les premiers clients qui ont réservé devraient les recevoir la semaine prochaine.

The Inspire look like it's in Travel mode that's why the camera is not attached. Attention to details.

I"m sûre they are waiting Apple to approve the software on App Store and nothing before 30 Déc.
For me every dealers already got the Inspire 1 and waiting the date to deliver.

Look at the number plate on the car what country is that not the USA looking at it looks like China or some where like that probably straight out the factory's door.

Hmmm... I suppose I was expecting a hood on the camera to address the flaring issue I believe DJI said was the reason for delay.

Yea I had thought the same thing and I just watched that youtube video that a guy maybe dealer posted unpackageing a new inspire. Didn't see any lens hood which maybe they fixed it without having to use one?
