So, I have flown some quadcopters before, small hubsans and tried out a friends DIY 350mm-ish copter. But I thought it was time to get my own.

I looked at the flight controllers that DJI has and I absolutely love the whole A2 system, but seeing as that is a tat over my budget I am going with the ARF kit that has the Naza-M V2 one with it.

So the advice that I need is more about, how much do I need after buying that kit?
As far as I can see I will only need to get a battery and controller? But I plan on mounting the Zenmuse 3D GoPro Gimbal that DJI has and I saw another person on this forum posting about how his copter was having issues lifting it. Will I need to get anything else then? Also what battery size will I need to get?

Thanks a lot

Need a Radio, Battery and charger if you don't have one. If you are planning on carry a gimbal, I would suggest a 4s 4000-5000mah pack.

This is the setup that I fly and I really enjoy it for FPV and some Aerial Photography. I have mine fully loaded with FPV equipment and use a 3s 5200mah and get about 9 minutes of flight which is enough for me, and has enough lift. Overall I think it is a good beginner setup and will be easy to learn on.

On the DJI site it says all I would need to get is a battery and controller? Also, what controllers are compatible, and how do I make them work?[EDIT] I think I just realized that by Radio you meant Controller / the other way aroudn. Nvm
