lol, if its real... not even announced yet. Remember when we all started seeing  pics of the Matrice 100 and the x5 before they were announced? And then how long was it before we can actually have our hands on one? its going to be some time, if that is real.

I am going to guess at the cost. $3000 for the 336 and probably $5000 for the 640.  I base that off the cost of the FLIR Vue and FLIR VUE Pro. The latter being the TIC I think DJI is using here since it has an onboard SD card with video and jog capture ability.

With that said, please get the pricing up as well as pre-order.  I realize it may take a while, but I would rather do this then purchase a modified DJI copter.

I bet it's more than that.  Looks like they based it off the Tau which has temp readings.

I believe the VUE Pro and VUE have temp reading.  They just don't have the Radiometric capabilities that allow specific temperatures to be highlighted. For instance I could highlight 37 C (body temperature) in red while the overall palette is black to white. I think FLIR calls it delta-T.

This would allow SAR to be relatively automated with a Matrice and the on board computer.  Think the drone automatically coming a grid with 20 % overlap to make sure it doesn't miss a spot and if anything shows up at the specified temperatures, it could alert the operator/command of the location.  It would be the holy grail of SAR.

For now though we have something, which is better than nothing.
