My question is... running .06 firmware and pilot app 1.1.2 do the batteries still benefit from the 20 cycle rule??? i have 10 batteries 6 older 4 newer and the older batteries are showing say... (tb-48's 5700mah) in app anywhere from 5220 to 5420.... some a little better say...5450 to 5570 my birds have been flying GREAT on the older F.W. and i have no interest in updating. Last question what if i update JUST the batteries?? will that help get them recalibrated in the app number wise thanks

Yes, It is a LiPo thing.  Your version of SW doesn't matter

Updating your batteries only, will not change anything. And yes, you do benefit from "20 cycle rule" no matter which FW are your aircraft running on

Your saying I can update the battery without messing with the I1?  I figured it would try to update all and mess up my old FW as well.  Maybe I missed that there is one just for the battery.

thanks guys , i think you would have to have a friend on the latest firmware then put your batteries in his inspire then update your batteries, but ill stay on 06 and keep to the 20 cycle rule!!
