we bought an osmo to compliment our other video equipment

the thing is it store video in 4gig clips which is fine

the problem is when adding them to timeline in fcp x there is a visibale jump between clips
this makes the small clips unusable

when formated in exfat why do dji not allow the capturing of over for gig

the osmo is looking to be a bit disapointing  also the sound is totaly unusable

come on DJI am sure you can sort it its a let down of a great product

Hi, alan, the 4G split mechanism is designed to avoid the file damage risk. For FAT32 format SD card, it can support 4G size for single file at most. Files larger than 4G can't be saved in the SD card. For ExFAT, the corrupted probability of file larger than 4G can be very high, so we design this mechanism in order to protect the data. Because once the file is corrupted, the whole work is unusable any more. Yes, this mechanism is not perfect right now since it might loose a few data frames when cutting the files into 4G.
