Hey!  My buddy at work purchased a P3Pro a couple months ago.  He has yet to open it, but eventually plans on it... (I agree he is crazy)

The question is this: The firmware on the bird is many versions back (not sure yet, I can let you know once he finally opens it...)  to update to the latest version, do we have to go through each firmware update in the order they were released? Or are some skipable.

Please check the firmware versions in your DJI Go App . If you are using a GL300B RC , please upgrade the firmware to 1.5.7 by the App , and then upgrade the aircraft firmware by SD card . If you are using a GL300A RC , please confirm the RC firmware is 1.3.2 or later and you upgrade it just like the former method . If the GL300A RC firmware version is older than 1.3.2 , please upgrade the RC firmware to 1.3.2 by SD card first .

Follow DJI-Patrick's procedures also. Flip you controller over and look on the back next to the DJI Logo. It will read GL300A or GL300B:

Hi , You'll just have to update the RC fimrware by App . As for the aircraft firmware , please update it with the SD card .

All updates worked fine. Now on my 10th flight & it is amazingly to fly. Starting to work on taking serious photos. Here's a few from York, Me a few days ago. I'm learning!

The lighthouse is called Nubble Lighthouse or Cape Neddick light. It is located in York, Maine just north of Portsmouth, NH USA.

Hong Kong is one of my favorite cities. What a place to do  "droning".
