HI There

Ive recently bought both the Ronin and lightbridge to work with my Black Magic Cinema Camera. For it to work I have bought a USB powered SDI to HDMI converter thinking I could run this from the Ronin USB port. Unfortunatly this does not seem to work. The converter works fine when powered by a laptop USB port. The SDI converter is a cheap model (Portta) but does seem to work on other monitors. Is there any power difference from the Ronin USB and a laptop USB? or any other suggestions.

I think the USB may just be a pass through and the USB may still need power at the pan tower.

CHeers for reply Matt, Ive been told that it coule be that the Ronin USB power output just inst enough as there are different USB power specs depending on devices...which is annoying!

The USB port now provide 5V/0.5A
