HI guys

Ive been running with v1.4 firmware with no problems at all with my bird. Is it a good or bad thing to update to v1.6. Do I really have to update to v1.6 with my DJI Go app version 2.4.3??

DJI recommends you always keep everything up to date

Personally, if its fine, I would look at the update list and compare the two versions to see if there are any big improvements that are worth it. If not, I would just leave it be if it is fine.

I just updated my Inspire to 1.6  and it works great.

I didn't get a chance to do the last update and then this one came along. Do I have to do the previous first and then the latter? Or can I just update to the most current version and skip the one a few weeks ago? TIA

I think you should load updates sequentially and don't skip you will have to be on line to update remote.
I had an esc fail during one update, pissed me off had to send in, my I1 was back in one week cost me nothing.  Cant complain about that.  It is my opinion that every update has been an improvement.  I wish they would slow down with updates.  maybe every 3 mo. and try to get it right,  I guess there repair, sales, and testing model includes us, for testing, resulting in rapid changes.  The concept seems to work, as long as they don't all fail at the same time.

I did so with no problems but I am not sure if that is the best practice.

Can a DJI representative confirm this?

Fingers crossed. I'm skipping 1.5 and currently installing 1.6

So far the correct beeps are sounding.

I'll update results of my update when done.

I just watched update video from DJI. At 3:30 it states you can upgrade to latest version skipping old ones. So it should be good to go.

Both Inspires and 5 batteries all updated no problem skipping 1.5 altogether
