I just got the Ronin M last week and I assume it has the latest firmware  would downgrading this solve the same issue for me?

Because of this stupid problem, one of my most important  projects of the year, is ruined!
Really I'm so pissed off and i don't know where should i address in order to at least fix this issue. I read that a downgrade is the way but the point is that i never did any upgrade to this stupid machine.
It was working fine and i made a calibration through the iPhone app (in order to be perfect) and after that the roll axis was completely off level.

Here is an example of the "perfect" shot of my ronin.

I haven't upgraded the IMU firmware to V3.0 as I can't take the risk. Can anyone tell us IMU v3.0 solve the drifting problem?

I am having the same problem. Do I need to downgrade the system software on the Ronin. Is it possible to send me a link. I am currently using a DJI RONINModel R-16 With all the latest updates (3.0). I still have this problem. It sets itself up fine, then while operating the roll drifts off. On a memorable occasion to 90 degrees.

I always film in warm and hot weather, the heat never effected my ronin before, not ever. Everything was working fine until I updated it, please send downgrades as well to Most408@gmail.com , Im loosing jobs over this roll drift

So I just had worst, most unprofessional experience with my Ronin this past monday  while I was bringing it out as operator on a $40,000 label commercial shoot. I will likely NEVER work for this company again, and my reputation is severely damaged. The day before I wanted to use the new thumbstick so I updated to the latest firmware, then during our camera prep the DP and I both dual opped, him on the RC controller, I on my new DJI wireless thumbstick. Everything worked PERFECT; we tested it for 20 mins no issues. Fast forward to the next day, I have the Ronin rigged up on my easy rig and serene arm ready for the first shot of the day, and the HORIZON will not stay static. No warnings, no way I might know this might be an issue with the new firmware (http://forum.dji.com/thread-3811-1-1.html) We spend 2+ hours setting up this rig and get NOTHING. No usable shots at all because the horizon CONSTANTLY drifts, (we try to correct it with the joystick) but eventually roll locks up 55 degrees sideways. We reset it mostly level and attempt to roll one take, which ended up super smooth and stable, BUT canted 55 degrees SIDEWAYS with no way to fix/adjust the roll. At this point The day is RUINED. All the shots were designed to be on the Ronin and all the build and it's accessories depend on it.

I spent the whole day browsing through dji forums trying to find the solution. It seems the only way to use my ronin is to go back to the old firmware. Therefore please send me the Firmware ronin assitant firmware 1.2 or and the older the 1.1 version  for mac  so I can go back to some more reliable older firmware system (2.1 or. 2.2). The current firmware is just horrible and has made a huge commercial dammage to my company and our professional reputation. Please send us also the instructions how to properly perform the downgrade.   Please send the download downgrade link to drazenstader@gmail.com

Hi,

I have the same problem as everyone else here, with a Ronin M received 2 days ago, perfectly balanced and set up.
After a few minutes of use, the roll axis isn't horizontal anymore.

How is it possible to sell something with so many people having this issue ?!

I left a mail to the support adress, hopefully I will be able to downgrade the firmware soon if that's the only way to solve this.

Has anybody ever even gotten the downgrade firmware for macintosh? And I saw in another thread that DJI has to approve the downgrade so what's the difference if you get it an cannot get dji to give you the approved downgrade?? Or am I missing something...?
I have written several people here and several replied to me saying they never got sent the firmware to downgrade. One guy sent me the Windows version downgrade. But I am on Macintosh.
