Yesterday, while flying i noticed my drone started "pulling/driffting" perdominately one direction. this was in gps mode and very little wind.

My drone is brand new, with less the 1 hour on it.

My question is how do i test my motors to make sure one is not bad or going bad.

Before putting it up i hit the auto take off, and it shot horizontally like a rocket.

It's very unlikely that you have a motor problem.
Your compass calibration would be the first thing to check
