Hoping DJI-Tim or someone can answer this very basic question I have.

I am using firmware 1.4 as I feel safer using it as apose to 1.5 & 1.6 and have had no problems at all. I plan on staying here and not "Upgrading".

Now, Should the unthinkable happen and it drops out the sky through no fault of my own, Will it still be covered under warranty for not using the latest firmware version??

good question. I just downgraded to 1.5 myself because my rate of climb seemed to be reduced by 1.6. I

They would have to honor it I would think .

If your aircraft is crashed , please send it back to our repaircenter for further analysis . It won't void warranty once it's confirmed to be product defect .
