I can remember where but I do remember something about being able to record audio with the Inspire with the sound equipment actually being at the controller not the camera. Is this the microphone in the Ipad or what you intend to use or is the an audio input somewhere.

yes, it uses the mic of the ipad (or other tablet)

That would be awesome!!! I have used my phantom for the local high school band. Now I will have synced audio without prop sounds

Just found a blutooth boom Mic have ordered it and it's on its way can return if doesn't workout for me.

Great!  Don't have to record separate audio track and sync.  Hope audio is already sync to what is being shot.

Not likely... There will be some sort of latency but then I live in the sub "Frame" world. I need sample accurate sound.

I'm not able to record sound from my iPad :/
