Took my bird apart during last 3 to 4 weeks... The most difficult threaded screws or bolts I encountered were the ones that were towards the center..... Where the arms pivot up and down....they are partly threaded and part bearing shaft that the landing gear pivots on....

heres some of the photos i took during tear down......bought all replacement parts from ebay.....man its lots of work.....and patience....received all the replacement parts....currently fishing the power and control circuits through the landing gear arms....which is a task in its self.....had to do some wire splicing using heat shrink.....i have more photos but they were taken with my iphone which saves them as 1.5 mb files which are too large to post on this forum....so i resizes the ones posted here with Adobe CS5.......Ill reducce the images size of future photos on my iphone so it wont be so difficult to post future photos.....I have about a hundred photos taken at various stages of the tear down...But here are some for the inquiring minds....Peace....from the pacific NW in Puget Sound.....Go Hawks.....Ha....

Are the carbon fiber arms "pressed" into the center knuckle, or are they attached with some sort of adhesive?
