100m high. If you look closely, you can see tire tracks from people riding their sand rails.

Oh, yeah i can see it now

That's truly a spectacular place. I used to run my buggy there in the late 60's. It's also where they shot the TV series Rat Patrol, also in the 60's.

I was born in 1977. Ever since I was very little, my family has been traveling to and from California for vacations. We've driven past, but have never been among these sand dunes. This last weekend, I flew above a childhood memory to see beyond the highway I've been been along so many times before.
