Just something I picked up from a DJI Tech. This really works well with the Phantoms and I would imagine it will be the same for the Inspire. Always put your phone or tablet in "Airplane" mode. This will cut down on interference from the Cell Sites. I have found it to double the range when I am close to a Cell Tower. The Airplane mode leaves your Wi-Fi in tact and turns Text and Calling off. You gain a much cleaner signal from the Quad. Just want to pass this along as it really helps me in RI with a ton of Cell Sites around.

Airplane mode turns off the WiFi and Bluetooth. With Cellular, it turns off cellular, WiFi and BT.

I don't know what you have? On my Apple products, "Airplane Mode" shuts dow just the Cellular so no phone contact or text. Everything else still works, the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Airplane mode disables all antennas (Bluetooth, WiFi, and cellular). You can manually renable Bluetooth and/or WiFi once Airplane mode is enabled but the cellular antenna will remain disabled. This is true for every modern iOS device.

Cool. You just taught me something new. Never tried to manually reenable Bluetooth or wifi while in Airplane mode. But it does indeed work.
