What is the USB port used for on the body of the Phantom 3 Pro/ADV? (not the USB port on the Camera/Gimbal)

I hear if you plug a cable into it, then place the whole phantom into a microwave, it increases the battery life by up to 50%   


I'm not actually sure, might be some sort of test/diagnosing port for phantom, or maybe used to load first Firmware onto the device at the factory?

It's used to download .dat log files from the flight controllers internal memory.

Correct!  You can get the flight data from that port.
