Saw this on eBay looks a good idea to charge 3 batteries at a time. I use similar parallel looms to charge basic lipos. Can I use this on an intelligent lipo battery?

I wouldn't trust it especially it being all open and exposed like that.

If you use the original charger like it states you can, you're going to put a lot of strain on it, not to mention increase the charging time. I would rather have a charger like this that charged them one at a time and automatically switch to the next battery once the previous one was fully charged.

You need a lot of current to charge multiple packs reliably and the original charger was only designed to handle one battery.

Would be nice to have a charger that can deal with all batteries at the same time, though. For this purpose, it would be great.

As the charging is in parallel the standard charger should handle it easily. If they were in series yes it would strain, plus the cells would/ could all be uneven on the charge on each individual 4 cell battery. It does have a saftey controller chip on each charge socket as well.  I'm very tempted tbh. Could always build a case for it or even just use heat shrink.

Wow that looks great. Thanks for the link. Even has a cool carry 4 battery case as well as charger. Makes it very safe and handy looks more like £150 rather than £15 of the cheap one. If it had cycle, discharge and storage functions I'd definitely get one.

Whenever they try to make you think its an official product when its not , it cant be trusted. I knew without looking that the item is from hong kong. 95.4% on only 315 sales? Thats not very good.

What the one your showing does not look very safe at all.
DJI recommends using the stock charger or the charging hub.

I have this one:   http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-Batter ... hash=item35f90f8c59

Charges my 3 batteries and controller at the same time.  Been using it for several months - works great - never a problem - and faster than the single low-watt charger that came with my P3A.
