Has anyone done this conversion?  I want to convert the Standard camera to be able to map vegatation.  I have seen on youtube there is a mod for the Phantom 2 vision plus.  Or would it be simple to just buy a NDVI camera and add it to the belly of the Standard

I have thought about doing this my self on one of my older P2's. I'm not sure how well they work as I haven't bought one yet but Mapir makes NDVI cameras almost the exact size of a Go Pro for $300. They claim they will fit or use a lot of the Go Pro accessories including holders. Anyhow, I would mount one under the belly in conjunction with the exsisting camera. You can use the standard camera for FPV and live videoing and the NDVI for maping vegitation in NDVI lighting.

It has better resolution, external shutter for flight controller integration and lower price. You should check it.
