So I currently own a P3P and haven't updated the software to avoid that geofence crap. My question is this, I just purchased a used inspire and what will I do or what will need to be done to still avoid the geofence issue? Is it as simple as just not updating my dji app? Thanks guy any help is appreciated.

I have all current firmware on P3P and I dont have all the " geofence crap" problems. I live within the 5 mile radius of a major airport and fly with zero problems.

Google: " sugar creek greer sc " and look to the east and you will see how close I am.

The real geo-fencing is part of a beta test  for build 1.7.  There was a rogue release of 1.6 that showed incorrect restricted areas. I believe that has now been resolved.
