im between getting the hardshell DJI backpack or the regular backpack kind (links below). I was wondering if anyone could recommend one and give me their pros and cons from their experience. Any input is appreciated. Thanks
No one bag is going to be the best, different bags for different uses. I grabbed an Hardshell bag (turned out to be fake copy), and have been really happy with it so far. All it needs is a waist strap, and it would be perfect (and larger shoulder straps, but that might be because mine is a fake)
I just bought the hardshell (official w/DJI logo) at the mall from Target
.....I like it, but lacks storage, so I am running over some ideas to add storage compartments to the outside that look like it was manufactured that way, for charge, iPad etc... I plan to have one of the compartments cover the DJI logo as I would rather not advertise it's contents.
Cost me $200 and fits lots of extras (Laptop, ipad, 4 batteries, remote, props x8, filters, internal pockets + cushioned partitions)
Super light and easy to travel and carry on the plane, discreet too.
Depends if u to need travel and u like bring your Laptop DJI have two Backpacks, the hardshell is compact and comfort i love this backpack. the another dji backpack can fit a laptop if u needed?.
I have both types of DJI backpacks for my P2 and P3P. You can carry more stuff in the original manfrotto backpack including a large notebook computer. The hard shell offers better protection for the heavy handed but I can't fit my P2V+ remote
I have the older Manfrotto which is terrible - just an inch too small in all directions and festooned with silly buckles. The newer one pictured above seems to be a much better design. Currently I'm using a Think Tank soft case which is fine. I regularly hike several km to various flight points and it's quite comfortable.
