Here's the first video made in the FREE DaVinchi Resolve 12 on my Windows 8 computer.
Recorded using a Phantom 3 Pro controlled with  DI GO on a Samsung Note 4 cell phone.

Nice video, Balthazar!
For me colors in the first part of video  look very nice corrected, but the second part looks like you applied less color correction to it.
Also one little suggestion:  try to be a little bit softer on a yaw, it will help you to make turns more smoothly

Very nice. I have two questions: What is in those white bales? And secondly, how do you get the lawnmower up on the roof of those buildings?

I was curious about the grass covered rooftops myself. I'm assumming this is a landfill / recyling center of some sort?
Cool video!

Agree about the over use of the yaw - makes it very jerky which kind of spoils it. Nice dump though lol.

Agreed with it being too long and too much yaw. Try to keep your clips to a few seconds long and cut out the parts where you are adjusting the camera to get the shot.

Thanks!
Seems like I messed up the speed in various clips too so I gotta check that.
Patience isn't my strongest side so I'll find some more files and start over.
Color Correction is the next thing on the To Learn list.

And one must allways fly smoother next time
Note that most the clips were from just flying around and I haven't even started flying for the movie.

It's burned and converted into hot water in this place:

My main criticism is the jerking of the yaw control. Try unscrewing the joysticks on the remote and lengthening them, then tighten them again to lock in the new length.  That way the same amount of stick input will give you a finer result, and hopefully a more subtle yaw turn.

Or getting the speed back down in the to where it belongs.
I am totally new to this program, so I messed something up.
It looks like some places its doing fast forward and slow motion other places.
Where/how do I change the speed of the individual clips?
That is what I need to figure out first of all

As best I can tell they are all playing back at 100% speed, you can tell from the wisps of smoke, the speed pedestrians are walking/birds are flying, rubbish is falling off conveyers etc.  It looks exaggerated because you are flying fast, close to the ground and making sudden stabs to turn the camera/aircraft.  The secret is very slight, smooth movements to the controls, not pushing the stick all the way then releasing it and suddenly repeating it again and again.  The longer stick trick helps giving gentler input to the controls.  Pans and tilts of the camera should be as smooth as you can make it.  There are a couple of shots there that turned out perfectly, I could be convinced that you went to intelligent flight mode and did a point-of-interest orbit e.g. at 1:07.  Slightly more altitude and a slight down-tilt of the camera can disguise some of those moves too.  If you get a bit more advanced, you can also alter the gain settings of the remote within the GO app, so that the curves aren't so abrupt and they will slow your aircraft's response to yaw inputs and make the turns less sudden.

I'm looking forward to trying the DaVinci program when I get a chance.  Thanks for posting it.
