I have a phantom 1 and everyone says I need to get the Gimbal to get stable video footage. I've been researching and most of them need advanced installation on a phantom 1. It's scares me to open everything up and mess around with cables. I really do not care for the camera up/down tilt in the back of my controler. I just want to have stable video footage. Will the gimbal mount work by itself? If i the drone turns left, right, goes forward or backwars the gimbal should stablize the camera right? without having all the cables connected to the phantom? please let me know and if so is there a gimbal mount only that doesn't connect to the phantom. thank you.

H3 2D gimbal need the power supply from the drone at least.

I guess any of them, all need to have power to work? Anything I can do without connecting anything to power
