It may have been covered before but looking for areas were flying drones are accepted is dwindling fast. We know where not to fly, and area hobby clubs are limited and typically not very scenic. We have miles of coastline here in Florida but some of those are considered national parks. So where do you fly??  

yes, that is the challenge. It is becoming hard to find places to enjoy our phantoms. I would like to see where do our community fly or find places to fly?

Country side, country side and country side. Preferably with no other walkers around and a poi like a folley(needle) or ruin to buzz around ;) parks are good but too many dog walkers. It's not so bad with the phantom but with 6ch helis was a nightmare, they'd come up and start talking to you while in mid flight doing your best to keep orientation etc. The phantom sure does take a lot of  pressure off you. Keeping los is easy as well with those big flashing lights ;) and how it holds is just great.

I mentioned the Hobby Clubs which are the only areas to fly 100% legal. I pay for AMA insurance and membership long with area membership for the right to fly in an accepted, safe, sanctioned environment. Anywhere else and you have FAA requirements or area users that call the cops on you.   

I want to fly over the beach area during sunset when the beach is mostly clear. I know there are beach police that monitor the area. In this area nothing to say it is illegal and it is a public area not a state or federal park so all the research point to it will be ok. That is until the lawman sees me flying my quad and decides to investigate.

Yes, very nice shots. I so want to fly the hover dam, grand canyon, yosemite but that wont be happening anytime soon. Looks like traveling outside of the US
