that somebody tried the new update for the Gimbal for all the functions in the A2

I tried ..... and now the shutter DIED!!!.... (A2 current firmware 2.4) Z15 connected to CAN1.
Do you know how i can downgrade the firmware?

Same here, my weekend is ruined!
My gimbal was working fine, but stupid me upgraded GCU firmware to V2.4. This is the result, camera faces down and no response when pan, tilt and shutter. () Mapping works in Assistant. (A2 Firmware v2.4, no lightbridge)

Later I updated IMU, that did fix the face down issues, but still no pan, tilt and shutter! Product release (see below) say you now can controll these via can-bus, anybody know how to set this up? (there is no A2 2.5 released)

Product release says: Major Update
● Upgraded the GCU firmware to V2.4 to support the latest A2 firmware V2.5, now all of the gimbal channels can be setup through the A2 receiver.
● Upgraded the IMU firmware to V1.8.

Notes
● When using A2 firmware version 2.5, connect the GCU CAN-Bus port to the CAN 2 port of the A2 flight controller, and all of the gimbal channels can be setup through the A2 receiver, you cannot setup the gimbal channels through A2 receiver if connect to the CAN 1 port.
● When using A2 firmware version 2.4, connect the GCU CAN-Bus port to the CAN 1 port of the A2 flight controller, as before. The function of the gimbal remains the same as before.

Mine died completely after the upgrade.

I' ve downloaded new assistant and I was able to upgrade it again. Now it works, but shutter doesn't work like you mentioned. In previous FW you had to have AUX1 ON and than shutter worked, but now this tricks doesn't work. I have WKM.

Hey! I did a new update, and now it works almost as before...shutter is still dead

I got this info from the support team. Didn't try it yet.

For the GH4 shutter function after FW upgrade...
The latest version (2.4), which was just released, should fix this

Nope, I lost the shutter when upgrading to 2.4.

Shutter was working fine with 2.2

Me also. I checked and the one I upgraded to was 2.4.

it's like that, support DJI today told me today that with the new update (few days ago) it solved the problem. Since i did this update now my shutter is not working any more :@. They will send me a new GCU to test

Can we get 1.2 Assistant somewhere to downgrade?

i got my GCU today and the european service told me, they are working for a new update. So don't upgrade from 2.2 to 2.4
It's not possible to downgrade i tryed and the information was that the assistant will not do it, maybe in the future

I have to say since Tuesday 13.1. until today 16.1. it was a quick service

You can re-upgrade the 2.4 and reboot the gimbal

how you can downgrade the GCU?

hi it 's a video showing the gimbal becoming crazy, i tried to reupgrade cgu but nothing better happened;

did you try imu calibration of the A2 ?

You can't. DJI gave me new GCU, so I guess their own firmware (2.4) destroyed the old one

after update 2.5  m z15 GH2 was crazy
i update it with the beta version on the website dji
and it will be good but my gps pro plus  has a problem  don't show it on the list ...
and if i put  my gps Pro  the gps loader was 0.0 with no update

Hey got a problem. Brand new Z15-GH4 and this is what it is doing. Also the PWM is not being detected in the Zenmuse Assistant at all. I have 3 Channel mapped out of F2 F3 F4 from A2 I also have tried just a normal Futaba RX and nothing. S-Bus works but still have no control over gimbal. I have Updated all firmware to the most recent to try and fix with no success.

Hi, 1. have you fasten the gimbal screws that fix the camera and lens tight  enough?
2.What's the firmware of this gimbal?
3. Do you connect the GCU mode channel to A2 f port?

HI, I have an S1000 with GH4, A2 and Lightbridge, just swapped central frame and rebuilt.  Along way I decided to upgrade all, A2, GCU, L/B etc.   All updates took, eventually,  but now I get bad image, very pixelized and wavy blurry image.   I went back and noticed that the GCU  HD-AV firmware was still at 1.0 but shows new version 1.20 available.   Was sure I did it fine, did it again, confirmed upgraded successful but after reboot still shows same situation,    Have done it three times now, no change.  Thinking this is the cause of my poor/no image state.   

Does anyone, at DJI perhaps, know how to make this update stick / stay.   How I can resolve my poor image.
