There is a number of people in Congress of have come up with a simple Amendment that would all be eliminate the red tape for comemrcial usage such as a pilots license for smaller drones. You still have to obsreve the current rules, no flying within 5 miles of an airport, keep it under 400', and onserve NFZ etc. This Amendmnt is H.R.4441 and has been attached to the FAA's budgeting bill. Congress is hoping to have the FAA budget bill passed before the FAA's current budget bill runs out this coming March 31st! It would be really nice if it turns out that easy and in fact does it get passed. That is just a hair over a month away, fingers crossed!
