I've just received my insprie 1 back from DJI after a repair via Quadcopters UK, I've turned on the unit on and controller on andit telling me it found the aircraft but it will let me exit the travel mode !
any idea anyone ?

Did you try to exit the travel mode in the app settings?

Its now working ok, what that was I don't know, thanks guys

You should never be on GRASS when you fly

Yes I was on the carpet, doh !

yes it needs to be on a hard porous surface during the " travel mode". There are multiple ways to get it out of that mode, the remote control and then through  the app.
