I've noticed lately that I'm getting a lot of spam in my email and I think DJI's forum is (indirectly) responsible You can see people's email addresses on posts that they've edited! I believe spammers are harvesting the email addresses from this forum. This not at all cool. Please fix this as soon as possible!



I just changed my username in my profile which was defaulted to my email address. It seems my email is hidden now. The default really shouldn't be to display your email to the entire world

I changed several of the letters to try to show you what we're talking about.  They need to work on limiting the info displayed.

so, the adress is only shown after edditing, if it's set as your username too, by default it is.

Click on username/Email (top right) --> Modify password --> My profile: username
change your username to something else, like mine now says "markus2015".

yeah, as Markus says, then you gotta log out then log back in for it to change ;)

when i try and update the username from my email i get this:

‘Sorry, failed to update. Please try again.‘

I've tried LOTS of combinations but it seems to not like it.

Also, i still dont see any emails on any of your posts or edits.  (well i see culnara and markus' name but not email and in other posts i never see anyone's email...odd)
EDIT:  NEVERMIND it finally let me change it.  thanks for the suggestion.

odd, now i have modified my profile name but it is showing my email still....lol...yes, they should turn that crap off.... although i dont care about spam, that email gets so much of it, it is pretty much useless haha

i think i had Daninho all the time as username, so that means some users left that field empty and name is shown instead of the username?

Good call on changing the profile name.
