After crashing my p3 before Christmas and finally got it back, I updated everything but never took her out yet, is 1.6 worth flying? Our temperature is -35c out there right now

-35°C would be too cold for me.  I use 1.6 firmware with no problem but no colder than about -10.  I would advise watching the battery tab in the app after take-off and hover.  Hover until the bat temp reaches 25°C before climbing out.

I went flying by the time imu was initialize battery was too cold temp was -31c

It' better to warm up the battery first if the outside is too cold.  Also, it's better to calibrate the IMU before your flight.

I figure that out warmed up the battery up to 30c my imu was faster loading and did some real Arctic flying

I would not fly in that could temperature because the battery drains faster and the battery is preforming at peak condition.
